Greetings to you from India. My son Jacob and I are in Gujarat, India this week. India is one of the darkest nations in the world. Millions of people worship Hindu idols and shrines. They live in spiritual darkness every day of their lives. People literally starve to death while cows roam the streets eating whatever they desire. The people of India worship millions of false gods that leave them without any help or hope. That is why we are here. We are bringing the light of Jesus Christ into their spiritual darkness.

Please pray that the Lord will use us greatly during this ministry. We are involved in a spiritual battle for the souls of men and women. Your support and prayers make it possible for us to bring the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to these lost souls. Even in the midst of this great darkness, the light of our Savior is shining into the hearts of many of these people. You have a part in bringing this message of hope and salvation to this nation. We are so grateful to have your prayers and financial assistance for our ministry. May our Lord bless you greatly for your generous giving and your faithful praying for our ministry. We are so thankful for all you do. To God be the glory! Great things He has done!

Arise Africa Child Care and Home Development "kitobero season" is here. The "Kitobero" is a time for meeting for Arise Africa child care department staff with the women and child groups in order to review what has been achieved in the year, to pray and also to map a way forward for the next year.

This year's "Kitobero" kicked off in Naminya at the Naminya Baptist Church and will go around eight villages. Naminya, Buyengo, Bulama, Bukaleba, Kakombo, Nakalama, Iwawu and Itukulu.

Pastor Godfrey and his wife Joy Wanamista has had a very successful visit in the USA sharing the word of God with fellow brothers and sisters in the USA. So far they have had the privilege to share in the following States.

The last three weeks have been busy for all of us at Arise Africa International and we would like to thank all of you for praying for us as we have have seen the lord work miracles our lives. First it was the departure to the USA of our boss Pastor Godfrey Wanamitsa and his wife Joy. They arrived safely and are ministering to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Then we had a baptism at Bukaya Baptism church. Up to sixteen members most them students at Njeru High school were immersed in water. We ask you to continue praying for them to stick with the faith. We also had a party for the scripture union at Bukaya Baptist church and that also went well.

The interns who are here working with us are slowly getting used to Uganda and we thank God for the construction of the orphanage at Buakeba which has taken off. Assisted by the interns and a team from EMI the initial stage has taken off we pray to the almighty God that this work ends well.

They are in the USA to share the word of God with brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and request your prayers that in ends well. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE IN THIS SITUATION

The posting that was here about the lions eating up tyres of cars in a national park has nothing to do with Arise Africa International. It is just one of those things that one comes across and decides to share with others. Anyways that was in Kruger National Park in SouthAfrica and ofcourse the lions were chased away by the game wardens.

Graduation for Missionlink bible school

Saturday the 27 th september saw the graduation of seven pastors who have been studying for one year. The pastors, seven in number graduated with certificates in theology. It was an exciting and renewing time for everyone and the venue-Arise Africa International christian guest house got swarmed with up to 150 people comprising of family friends and well wishers. The guest of honour was Dr Rev Rick Sadler the president of Missionlink International. Also in attendance was the Director of Arise Africa International Rev Godfrey Wanamitsa and the assistant dean of the bible school Pastor Willy Batwaula and Pastor Abalyawo James. The students who graduated are: Sempebwa George, Isabirye Emmanuel, Egalu Peter Sajja Wilber, Waiduuba Simon, Napeera Joshua and Omoding Joseph.
